Salesforce seeks a Director of Product Management, Data to own the data strategy, governance, and analytics foundation. You will establish trusted datasets, unified metrics, and a lifecycle for data products, partnering across Product, Tech, Operations, Finance, and GTM to scale with a data-as-a-product mindset.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in Data Product Management, Data Strategy, Analytics, or Enterprise Governance.
• Strong analytical and technical acumen; evaluate complex data architectures.
• Deep familiarity with the Salesforce product ecosystem, architectures, and analytics capabilities.
• Proven track record in data governance and metric alignment, including single-source-of-truth frameworks.
• Strong product lifecycle management skills, with ability to assess, build, extend data products and platforms.
• Proven ability to leverage data, analytics, and platform capabilities to solve scaling challenges.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Product, Tech, Operations, Finance, and GTM.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving proactive insights.
• Experience in high-growth enterprise, SaaS, or complex ecosystem environments preferred.

• Data Strategy & Vision: Define and execute a holistic data strategy aligned with scaling goals.
• Data Quality & Governance: Establish governance models and unified metric definitions across lifecycle.
• Documentation & Discoverability: Improve data documentation and platform discoverability.
• Value Measurement & Lifecycle Management: Measure business value of data products and manage tools.
• Infrastructure Assessment & Team Building: Assess infra and build/lead Data/Analytics team as needed.
• Reliability & Data Contracts: Establish data contracts and SLAs for datasets and AI systems.
• Trust, Privacy & Compliance: Safeguard data with access controls and regulatory compliance.
• Data Literacy & Adoption: Drive data literacy and adoption of data products across the organization.
• AI & Agent Enablement: Build AI-ready data foundation and catalog agent skills for automated actions.
