Ladders is seeking a Director of Data Operations to guide data exchange and integration for healthcare-focused initiatives. The role emphasizes data quality, accessibility, and timely delivery of production assets while partnering with IT, operations, and stakeholders.

The position is remote with US-based candidates and offers a comprehensive compensation package. You will lead strategy, governance, and staff development across data platforms and clinical data exchange initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
• 10+ years in healthcare interoperability and clinical data exchange preferred.
• 15+ years in Healthcare IT delivery with provider and payer experience preferred.
• 5+ years shaping and executing healthcare technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic roadmap for data exchange and bridge technical and operational gaps.
• Ensure robust data integration to support clinical workflows and payer-provider alignment.
• Manage hiring, coaching, and performance management of staff while overseeing departmental operations.
• Monitor and support operational data platforms with quality control processes.
• Support stakeholders in accessing and understanding data for effective information delivery.
• Deliver production assets accurately and timely to enhance end-user efficiency.
• Act as a liaison for data governance, connecting IT partners and external plan collaborators.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director Data Operations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This leader will oversee the strategic direction of data exchange, integration, and operational support for healthcare-focused data initiatives. The role is centered on strengthening clinical and payer-provider information flow while ensuring data quality, accessibility, and timely delivery of production assets. It also partners closely with IT, operations, and external stakeholders to improve workflows and support broader organizational goals.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,100 – $214,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic roadmap for data exchange and bridge technical and operational gaps
• Ensure robust data integration using healthcare standards to support clinical workflows and payer-provider alignment
