Job summary

Publicis Groupe seeks a Director, Data Engineering to lead the design, development and ongoing support of a data-driven software platform. The role requires driving multi-project work, partnering with product, analytics and engineering, and delivering scalable data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You will design and optimize Snowflake/Databricks data pipelines, develop advanced database objects, and ensure data quality and performance across large datasets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering with advanced SQL development and performance tuning.
• Experience with Snowflake as an enterprise data warehouse.
• Experience with Databricks and PySpark.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and BI tools integration.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party data sources.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business requirements and design scalable data solutions.
• Develop SQL transformations and data pipelines in Snowflake and Databricks.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to optimize schema for performance.
• Manage advanced database development including stored procedures and UDFs.
• Design Snowflake database objects (stored procedures, views, tasks).
• Build scalable data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Create monitoring tools to ensure data fidelity and performance.
