Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Director – Strategic Accounts to lead the strategic account organization and drive sales growth across key customers in the United States. You will develop customer strategies, coordinate with the Sales Director and suppliers, and direct proposals and presentations.

The role requires strong leadership, financial analysis knowledge, and a track record of strategic thinking and negotiation. Expect extensive travel and a focus on delivering measurable business results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressively responsible sales and marketing/supervisory experience required; 6+ years experience preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques and practices.
• Experience with SAP and Excel.
• Oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise staff and achieve results through others.
• Ability to think strategically and negotiate effectively.
• Ability to budget effective.
• Extensive travel required.

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours

Compensation Details:

The expected base salary for this position is starting at $150,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
