Job summary

Related Digital seeks a Director of Operational Excellence & Assurance to drive continuous improvement across data center operations and lead internal audits. You will assess operational performance, safety, and quality per EHS standards, SLAs, and KPIs, while supporting SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 efforts. Travel 40–50% domestically is expected.

Applicants should have 7–10 years in operations/QMS/EHS, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration; professional certs are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
Equivalent experience in lieu of degree as described (Associate + 4 yrs or HS + 8 yrs).
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry/Construction; CIA, CQA, or CISA; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; CSP/ASP/CIH; data center certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead site and portfolio level continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, reliability, quality, and efficiency of data center operations.
Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures, playbooks, and best-practice sharing across sites.
Define, track, and report KPIs for operational performance, safety, and compliance; identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Facilitate root cause analysis and CAPA processes for operational, safety, and quality events.
Partner with Engineering, Facilities, and EHS teams to standardize processes across the portfolio.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline; monitor energy performance (PUE).
Audit internal processes, track CAPs to closure, and support external audits.
