Position Overview
The Director of Data Analytics & Insights will establish a new Data Analytics & Insights function and utilize advanced analytics and operational insights to drive our company's success and growth.
This role will start as an individual contributor, as you build the roadmap and initiatives, you will ultimately build a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with senior leadership, evangelize data analytics and insights, getting buy in and building the data analytics and insights function.
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies that align with business objectives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as data mining and machine learning to uncover trends and insights.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Integrate data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse to support comprehensive analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analytics needs and provide support for data-related projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
- 5+ years in a leadership position.
- Proven experience building the function and overall strategy around data and insights. Experience in the story telling behind the data to influence effective decisions.
- Proven experience in data analytics, with a strong background in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Expertise in data governance, data mining, and data integration techniques.
- Strong understanding of large language models (LLM) and their applications in analytics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring analytics professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent presentation skills working across the business and senior leadership.
