Job summary

Kardigan is seeking an Associate Director / Director of Data & AI Solution Development to architect enterprise data and AI solutions for a cutting-edge biopharma platform. You will translate business, scientific, and operational needs into scalable data models and integration patterns, guiding governance, security, and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with data platform engineering and solution delivery to shape the roadmap, evaluate new tooling, and drive high-impact outcomes across R&D,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Advanced degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
• Proven track record designing enterprise data and AI solutions at scale.
• Strong SQL and Python skills to evaluate designs.
• Experience in regulated industries and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and unify data and AI solution design roadmaps across teams.
• Lead architecture and design for enterprise data and AI initiatives.
• Translate business/scientific needs into data models and integration patterns.
• Partner with delivery teams to hand off designs for execution.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory and data governance requirements.
