Job summary

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with degree in CS or related field
• Experience leading agentic AI-enabled engineering practices
• Strong governance and secure handling of sensitive data
• Snowflake-based data platforms or comparable cloud data ecosystems at enterprise scale
• Experience delivering complex payment/transaction or data systems in regulated environments
• Ability to attract, hire, develop, retain engineering talent

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the technology strategy for Merchant Services Data and Reporting platforms, with accountability for measurable business outcomes
• Lead the engineering and operation of Snowflake-centered data platforms processing ~600 million transactions per day
• Scale multi-department strategy for enterprise-enabled AI engineering and SDLC/TLM automation
• Apply AI-assisted development and automation to increase engineering effectiveness
• Deliver trusted data and reporting solutions for external merchants and internal partners
• Enable data products and models for secure consumption by AI agents and analytics use cases
• Drive disciplined execution across multi-year initiatives with clear priorities and milestones
• Design architectures and data models to support higher transaction volumes and expansion beyond the U.S.
• Enforce operational excellence with SLAs, observability, capacity planning, data quality, incident response
• Provide leadership across platforms and locations, promoting ownership and inclusion
