MetLife is seeking a Lead Auditor – Data & AI to join its Global Internal Audit organization. You’ll deliver independent assurance across data and AI initiatives, partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to evolve audit techniques and governance in a rapidly changing tech landscape.

This role blends technical expertise with risk management, helping shape responsible data use and AI controls across a global organization. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in auditing, consulting, or implementing data and AI solutions.
• Understanding of data and AI concepts, governance, security, privacy, and explainability.

Responsibilities

• Support risk assessments and development of audit plans for data and AI governance areas.
• Lead and support audits, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and ensuring issues are closed.
• Identify audit issues, present findings, and recommend improvements to reduce risks.
• Prepare clear audit deliverables that support conclusions and meet quality standards.
• Stay updated on data/AI trends and regulations to educate audit teams.
