Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes unit seeks a Director, Cyber Defense to lead the global incident response program, threat management strategy, and safeguard our digital environment across products and operations. This hybrid role will be based in Raynham, MA with alternate locations in NJ, PA, IN, FL or Pune, India.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of progressive cybersecurity/IT risk management experience, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale incident response and threat management programs.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threat landscapes, attack techniques, and defensive strategies.
• Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, life sciences, MedTech).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams during high-pressure incidents.
• Excellent executive communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the global incident response, digital forensics, defense engineering, and cyber threat intelligence capabilities.
• Build an automation- and AI-first global SOC operating model with MSSP, retained services, and internal teams.
• Direct complex cybersecurity incident investigations with containment, evidence preservation, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Develop and continuously improve incident response playbooks, escalation paths, and crisis management procedures.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Privacy, Quality, and Business leaders to manage incidents and compliance obligations.
• Oversee threat intelligence to identify threats and translate into prioritized defensive actions and executive briefings.
• Lead tabletop exercises and readiness assessments to improve response maturity.
• Establish executive metrics framework (MTTA, MTTR, MTTC) to drive improvements in cyber resilience.
• Provide executive-level reporting on cyber risk, incidents, and remediation progress.
