Job summary

The New York Power Authority is seeking a Director of Business Technology to define and advance its strategy for customer-facing technologies, including Dynamics 365 CRM, Power BI, and emerging AI capabilities. You will lead multi‑year roadmaps and partner with IT and business units to enable customer-centric data, analytics, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related business discipline.
• 7 years of experience administering and working within the business system environment preferred.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying technology solutions.
• 3 years of experience leading a team and managing stakeholder groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the development and maintenance of the functional technology roadmap, strategy, plans, goals, budgets, and metrics.
• Direct and oversee the execution of all technology related activities and processes, including recurring program management activities.
• Ensure system Product Owner business requirements, processes, and controls are socialized, enforced, and maintained across all stakeholders.
• Provide system design and configuration guidance to stakeholders for and related module(s).
• Oversee and guide the team providing day‑to‑day operational support including responding to incidents and troubleshooting.
• Acts as a liaison to the IT development group and business units for new systems and enhancements.
