Fitch Ratings in Chicago is seeking an Analyst Director for the Industrials & Transportation coverage. Based in one of our U.S.

offices, you will lead quantitative and qualitative credit analysis for diversified manufacturing, collaborating with senior colleagues and management teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CFA/CPA or CFA candidate preferred.
• Capital markets or credit analysis experience a plus.
• Expertise in Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, especially coverage or knowledge of Industrials & Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of factors influencing credit quality for Diversified Manufacturing in the Industrials & Transportation team.
• Maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Participate in meetings with I&T industry management teams.
• Help senior analysts prepare presentations for internal credit rating committees.
• Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates and related groups.
