Job summary

Metropolitan Ministries is seeking a Director to lead the CREATE Early Childhood program in Tampa. You will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and coordinate with Head Start while focusing on supporting parents, teachers, and children with training and tools for optimal learning outcomes.

The role requires an AA degree in education/health/social services or 10 years in childcare, plus Director credentials.

Qualifications

• Requires AA degree in education, health or social services, or 10 years of childcare experience.
• Director’s credentials required and relevant direct experience with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the CREATE Early Childhood program operations and staff.
• Coordinate in-service training and meetings; supervise and mentor CREATE-ELC teachers.
• Ensure licensing, accreditation, and compliance; track KPI and grant data.
• Manage School Readiness voucher processes and enrollment eligibility.
• Lead parent and teacher training to support learning and development.
