Job summary

Wonder is seeking a senior leader to set the vision for courier payments, pricing, and incentives across its delivery network. You will own the annual budget, partner with Finance on planning, and guide the Payments & Incentives team to deliver measurable outcomes.

In collaboration with Analytics, Product, and Engineering, you will refine pay calculations, incentive design, and experimental decisions that enhance earnings, engagement, and delivery reliability across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in analytics, economics, finance, operations, engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in marketplace operations, analytics, pricing, payments, incentive strategy, or related field with measurable outcomes.
• 3-5 years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Analytical and technical capabilities: SQL and advanced Excel or financial modeling.
• Experience designing experiments and evaluating incentive effectiveness.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis; Python or R is a plus.
• Strong foundation in analytics, marketplace pricing, courier payments, or algorithmic offer pricing.
• Experience with independent-contractor, gig-economy delivery networks; earnings and incentives interplay.
• Budget ownership and partnership with Finance and Analytics.
• Ability to turn complex analysis into operating strategy with cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and roadmap for courier payments, pricing, and incentives.
• Own the annual driver payments and incentives budget; partner with Finance on planning and forecasts.
• Lead Courier Payments & Incentives team with clear accountability for outcomes.
• Own engagement programs across activation, peak-demand, retention, and reactivation.
• Partner with Analytics to measure impact via controlled experiments and causal methods.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve pay calculation and incentive delivery.
• Apply AI and predictive models to supply forecasting and budget scenarios.
• Manage pay and incentives as network levers affecting earnings, availability, and cost per delivery.
• Present recommendations to Logistics leadership; drive cross-functional execution.
• Use courier feedback and research to improve pay transparency and program design.
