KBF Advisory is seeking a Director to lead Corporate Tax Services. The role focuses on income tax accounting, compliance, and consulting for a range of clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies. You will lead teams, manage engagements, and drive tax strategies while maintaining a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The position can be remote within the U.S. or hybrid from Irvine/San Diego, CA; Lake Oswego, OR; Las Vegas, NV; or Seattle, WA. A strong background in ASC 740 and U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years recent corporate tax experience.
• Licensed CPA or EA in home state; needs to obtain designation if not held at start.
• Experience preparing/reviewing ASC 740-based tax provisions and U.S. GAAP guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax provisions under ASC 740.
• Provide tax provision and tax compliance services for corporate clients.
• Serve as primary client contact and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Manage delivery of accounting services within budget and time constraints.
• Stay updated on tax law trends and lead tax planning efforts.
• Lead and manage tax teams, mentoring and recruiting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent license
