Job summary

Peoples Gas System, a TECO Energy subsidiary, seeks a Director of Corporate Strategy in Florida (Tampa). You will guide long‑term strategy, lead enterprise risk management, and coordinate strategy execution with the Executive Leadership Team.

You will head strategic planning, risk assessments, and business continuity efforts, shaping decisions at the highest levels while mentoring the strategy team and collaborating across TECO Energy and affiliate companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited college/university.
• 10 years combination of experience in strategic planning, strategic analysis, collaborative strategy, leading teams, strategic trend analysis, working with senior management, and facilitation.
• 5 years of leading people or project teams experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual Strategy Refresh Process and facilitate strategic planning sessions with executive leadership.
• Drive enterprise risk management, business continuity planning, and risk assessments.
• Monitor industry trends, conduct strategic analyses, and develop future‑focused business scenarios.
• Lead strategy execution reporting, performance monitoring, and Balanced Scorecard reviews.
• Prepare executive and Board‑level presentations and strategic communications.
• Lead, coach, and develop strategy team members while influencing cross‑functional teams across the organization.
