Job summary

Baylor University in Waco, TX seeks a Director to manage a portfolio of corporate and private foundations and coordinate with the Office of the Vice Provost for Research. You will cultivate relationships, identify opportunities, and assist with grant proposals to support Baylor's strategic initiatives.

Requirements: bachelor's degree and three years' experience; master's degree and five years preferred; valid US driver’s license and ability to travel outside Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of fundraising or related experience required.
• Master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to travel outside Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate and private foundations for Baylor.
• Cultivate relationships and coordinate with faculty and staff on proposals.
• Assist in writing grant proposals and manage competitive submissions.
• Engage in qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and gifts securing.
• Support Baylor's strategic initiatives through nongovernmental grants.
• Collaborate with the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and travel requirements.
• Maintain regular attendance and accountability for productivity metrics.
