Job summary

Northwest Nazarene University College of Business is seeking a Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations to lead the fundraising program within the Office of University Advancement. The role focuses on major gifts from corporate and foundation donors, including research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities.

The position requires an ability to manage complex proposals, collaborate with Marketing, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven excellent customer service and interpersonal attributes.
• Ability to follow through, organize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a yearly strategy for seeking grant funding from corporations and foundations.
• Researches, monitors, and administers grant activities with compliance and reporting.
• Drafts grant requests, progress reports and supporting documentation.
• Provides stewardship updates to donors and meets with them as appropriate.
• Collaborates with Marketing to create solicitation materials and maintain the website content for corporate/foundation relations.
• Oversees related advancing initiatives and engages in community events.
