NKU Haile College of Business is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising for the college, partnering with the Dean and academic leadership to translate initiatives into philanthropic opportunities. You will manage a major gifts portfolio and drive engagement with high-capacity donors and corporate partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration with NKU Advancement, faculty, and external stakeholders to secure gifts that accelerate student success and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Proven success securing individual philanthropic gifts.
• Experience managing complex donor relationships and stakeholder environments.
• Higher education fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience partnering with academic leaders and faculty.
• Knowledge of development functions: major gifts, annual giving, alumni engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary development partner to the Haile College of Business and shape fundraising strategy.
• Build and steward relationships with donors and prospects matching interests to college priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects with the goal of securing annual commitments.
• Identify and cultivate new donor and corporate engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Advancement and university stakeholders on proposals, stewardship, and initiatives.
• Act as liaison between the college and Advancement to align philanthropic opportunities.
