Job summary

DJEH in New York seeks a Director, Corporate Communications to elevate the agency’s profile across marketing, advertising, sports and entertainment. You will develop and execute strategies that raise awareness of our people, capabilities and work, including conferences, executive speaking opportunities, trade media visibility, awards and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in advertising, creative, marketing, entertainment or communications agency.
• Proven success increasing visibility and reputation of an agency, brand or leadership team.
• Strong knowledge of ad/trade landscape, conferences, awards and cultural events.
• Existing relationships with media, events and industry organizations preferred.
• Highly proactive and entrepreneurial with ability to drive ideas to execution.
• Strong executive presence and ability to work with senior leadership.
• Excellent writing, storytelling and messaging skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DJEH’s corporate marketing strategy to increase agency and executive visibility.
• Identify and secure high-impact conferences, speaking engagements, panels, podcasts and events for DJEH executives.
• Build DJEH’s presence with influential media and trade outlets to keep leaders visible to key audiences.
• Partner with the CEO to develop ideas and platforms that position DJEH as a relevant industry voice.
• Proactively identify agency stories and industry conversations to showcase a differentiated perspective.
• Develop executive thought leadership, messaging and content to highlight DJEH’s capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to amplify award-winning work and client successes.
• Lead industry awards, rankings and recognition opportunities for DJEH.
• Build strong relationships with journalists, conference organizers and industry organizations.
• Establish a calendar and pipeline of visibility opportunities.
