Job summary

Cvent, a leader in meetings and events technology, seeks a strategic Director of Corporate Communications to lead integrated programs that strengthen our brand and connect strategy to key audiences. You will report to the VP of Corporate Marketing and oversee PR, media relations, internal comms, and executive messaging.

You will partner with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, and other functions to ensure consistent, on-brand communications across channels.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the DC metro area and work hybrid.
• 12+ years in corporate communications leadership.
• Experience with media strategy and executive counseling.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute PR strategy across narratives: company announcements, product news, thought leadership, event coverage, executive visibility, and industry storylines.
• Manage US and European PR agencies, setting priorities and measuring outcomes.
• Draft and edit press releases, bylines, op-eds, briefing materials, media FAQs, and talking points.
• Support crisis communications preparation and execution as needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business milestones into media opportunities.
