Job summary

Etsy is seeking a Director of Product Management for Core Seller to shape the strategy across Shop Manager, Seller App, APIs, and AI tools. You’ll lead a team of PMs, translate seller insights into bold roadmaps, and move quickly through testing and learning.

This role sits at the center of Etsy’s buyer-seller network, partnering with growth and inventory leads, balancing user needs with business impact, and maintaining Etsy’s commitment to keeping commerce human.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product work and managing PMs.
• Experience with marketplace sellers and their needs.
• Ability to balance deep analysis with fast experimentation.
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and governance.
• Experience delivering products across web, mobile, and API.

Responsibilities

• Set product strategy and roadmap for Core Seller ecosystem (Shop Manager, Seller App, APIs, AI tools).
• Ship product changes and iterate with the team.
• Coach a team of 3 PMs and align their work under a unified AI strategy.
• Establish a rhythm for visibility across the org and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with Seller Growth and Inventory leaders.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative research to seller needs and prioritize accordingly.
• Decide where AI should be used, aligned with Etsy's 'keeping commerce human' principle.
