Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• 10+ years in contract management or legal operations, in regulated life sciences.
• Experience leading and mentoring contracting professionals and managing teams.
• Broad experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing varied agreements.
• Strong understanding of contract principles, privacy, and regulatory considerations.
• Demonstrated process discipline, project management, and governance skills.
• Ability to use data and reporting to drive performance and decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership skills to coach and develop a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the Contract Management team and prioritize work.
• Mentor junior staff on review, negotiation approach, templates, and partnerships.
• Set and monitor service levels, turnaround times, and quality measures.
• Drive consistent CLM usage across staff and internal clients.
• Develop contracting standards, templates, and governance with senior leadership.
• Analyze service-level data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a resource on complex matters and escalate to Legal leadership as needed.
• Deliver training on CLM processes and contract practices to staff and clients.
