Job summary

Community Bank, N.A. is seeking a Director of Consumer Collections to lead strategy, operations, and regulatory compliance across consumer loan portfolios including mortgages, HELOCs, auto loans, and other retail lending products.

You will optimize delinquency performance, guide recoveries, and align policies with risk appetite while advancing customer outcomes and compliance programs across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in consumer collections, mortgage servicing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive collections strategies across consumer loan portfolios.
• Oversee delinquency management, loss mitigation, repossession, and recovery activities.
• Ensure compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, and other regulations.
• Lead and develop collections managers and staff; drive process improvements and cost efficiency.
• Monitor performance and manage vendor relationships.
