Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a Director - Construction to lead regional construction engagements in the US. You will guide teams through inception, design-build, and EPC projects for clients in food & beverage, life sciences, and related industries, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and schedule.

You will mentor staff, drive business development, and collaborate with senior leaders to maintain safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Director role overseeing construction projects in Food, Beverage, Life Science, Home and Personal Care markets.
• Strong leadership and client-relations skills; ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Experience in design-build or EPC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project vision from conception to completion.
• Oversee risk, contract negotiations and pricing decisions.
• Serve as primary client liaison.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to proposals.
• Mentor and develop team members.
