Job summary

Veeam Software seeks a senior leader to own the Universal Connector Framework within Veeam Data Command Center, overseeing integrations across SaaS, IaaS, and AI platforms. You will shape technical strategy, set standards for scalability, and partner across product and engineering to define the integration roadmap.

You will drive AI-first practices, build reusable Claude skills, and ensure secure, scalable data discovery across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in backend or data engineering focused on integrations or API-first systems.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proven experience architecting connectors or integration platforms at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the connector framework architecture and roadmap for scalable integrations.
• Lead and grow the team; hire, mentor, and ensure delivery and reliability.
• Build an AI-first engineering practice with guardrails for code quality and security.
• Create reusable Claude skills and workflows for faster new integrations.
• Improve AI-driven discovery and AISPM telemetry ingestion.
• Ensure metadata and ACLs are normalized in the platform.
• Guide distributed workers (Go/Python) for high-scale scanning with robust auth.
