Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Director of Core Business Center - Connectivity to lead the Connectivity business with full accountability for strategic direction, execution, and financial performance across sales, product marketing, and field service operations.

The role requires 10+ years in related engineering/market disciplines and 5+ years in leadership, with strong experience in NPI, GTM, and VOC analytics. You will manage US P&L, set growth plans, and drive cross-functional excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product marketing/management in industrial automation or connectivity
• 5+ years in leadership roles
• Experience leading connectivity, networking, or automation-related initiatives
• Experience with NPI processes and go-to-market execution
• Strong demand planning, forecasting, and inventory strategy
• Proven track record in portfolio strategy and profitable launches
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Connectivity business with strategic direction and financial performance
• Own US P&L including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and KPIs
• Establish annual sales targets, forecasts, and growth plans
• Define and execute GTM strategies for the Connectivity portfolio
• Lead NPI planning and cross-functional alignment with global strategy
• Drive VOC insights to inform strategy and product decisions
• Build executive relationships and lead high-value negotiations
• Oversee pricing governance and channel strategy across segments
• Ensure alignment across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance
• Develop leadership pipeline and foster a culture of accountability
