Job summary

AbsenceSoft in the United States is seeking a Director of Product - Compliance to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the company’s compliance platform. This engine encodes 200+ statutory leave and accommodation laws and stays current as regulations change.

The role reports to the Chief Product Officer, manages product managers and compliance experts, and collaborates with Legal, engineering, design, and go-to-market to ensure high-quality, compliant capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in product management or related leadership roles, with end-to-end ownership.
• Direct experience owning a compliance, regulatory, or rules-engine product.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product features.
• Experience shipping AI or LLM-powered products with accuracy in critical domains.
• Enterprise B2B SaaS experience with strong data fluency.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision and strategy for AbsenceSoft’s compliance platform.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers and compliance domain experts.
• Own the roadmap for encoding 200+ statutory laws across jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance content stays accurate as laws change.
• Advance the use of AI and automation to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
• Translate regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities in partnership with Legal.
• Partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market to ensure timely delivery of compliance features.
• Drive go-to-market readiness for compliance capabilities with Sales and Customer Experience.
