Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks a Director of Business Valuation focusing on Complex Financial Instruments (CFI) to join our Valuation Team in a hybrid, client-facing role in Houston. You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and expand our practice through strategic relationships and market thought leadership.

You will oversee valuation analyses, forecasting, and modeling of derivatives, private securities, and related instruments for mergers, acquisitions, tax, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

8+ years in Management/Leadership/Supervisory experience.
Experience valuing complex financial instruments.
Experience with Option Pricing Models, Monte Carlo and Binomial Models.
Experience in Monte Carlo programs (@risk, Crystal Ball), Lattice models, coding (MatLab, R), Bloomberg, etc.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain an effective client and referral network.
Manage overall client relationships to exceed satisfaction.
Lead and develop CFI valuation professionals and teams.
Promote firm strategy and cross-sell service lines.
Represent the practice with thought leadership and marketing initiatives.
