Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Director of Business Valuation focused on Complex Financial Instruments (CFI) to join our Valuation Team. This role provides exposure to financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting on instruments such as convertible securities and derivatives for clients in mergers, acquisitions, and financial reporting.

The position emphasizes practice development, client management, and leadership of CFI professionals, with opportunities to travel and support cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field; MBA or Master’s a plus.
• Professional Certifications: ABV/CPA, ASA or CFA.
• 8+ years in management/leadership/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective sales and marketing process in the Valuation practice area.
• Manage client relationships and project teams to exceed client satisfaction.
• Oversee financial metrics: realization, utilization, leverage, accounts receivable, and expenses.
• Mentor and develop valuation staff; lead thought leadership and cross-selling across service lines.
