RSM US LLP is seeking a Director of Business Valuation focused on Complex Financial Instruments (CFI) to join our Valuation Team. You will lead engagements involving valuation of complex instruments, derivatives, and related private debt instruments, while driving client relationships and business development across risk and financial reporting contexts.

The role emphasizes thought leadership, mentorship, and strategic growth within a national firm, with a hybrid work approach and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; MBA or master’s a plus
• Professional certifications ABV/CPA/ASA/CFA
• Experience valuing complex financial instruments
• Experience with option pricing models and Monte Carlo/Binomial methods
• Experience with software: @risk, Crystal Ball, MatLab, R, Bloomberg, Capital IQ
• Ability to manage client relationships and lead engagements
• Big 4 or national consulting firm valuation experience
• 8+ years in management/leadership/supervisory roles
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain sales/marketing processes in Valuation practice
• Manage client relationships and lead CFI engagements
• Mentor and develop valuation staff
• Grow cross-service line collaboration and referral networks
• Demonstrate thought leadership and strategic firm integration
• Oversee budgeting, realization, utilization, and expenses
