Job summary

Nscale in Seattle seeks a Director of Competitive Insights to translate market movements into actionable playbooks, owning the strategic narrative to beat legacy clouds and new GPU clouds. You will dive into GPU compute, networking, and data center trends to empower sellers with an unfair advantage.

You will lead field-ready battlecards, win/loss interviews, and executive briefings, collaborating with engineering to benchmark performance and inform GTM strategy across cloud providers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in competitive intelligence or technical sales within cloud AI infra.
• Deep understanding of GPU clusters, networking, and the AI hyperscaler landscape.
• Ability to extract data from ambiguous, fast-moving markets and craft actionable narratives.
• Cross-functional influence across sales and engineering to drive GTM decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reverse-engineer competitor roadmaps, pricing, and deployments of legacy hyperscalers and GPU clouds.
• Create battlecards, objection-handling guides, and pricing takedowns for Account Executives.
• Lead win/loss interviews to identify pitch gaps and feed findings into GTM and Product strategy.
• Provide executive market briefings on AI compute demand and competitor supply chain bottlenecks.
• Partner with engineering to benchmark latency, PUE, and TCO of competitor clusters.
