Nscale in San Francisco seeks a Director of Competitive Insights to lead competitive intelligence and GTM strategy. You will transform market movements into field-ready playbooks, owning the narrative on beating legacy clouds and new GPU clouds, while collaborating with engineering to benchmark architecture and performance.

This role demands 8+ years in CI or technical marketing/sales, deep GPU cluster knowledge, and strong storytelling to unblock sales and product decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, technical product marketing, or technical sales.
• Deep technical understanding of GPU clusters and AI hyperscaler landscape.
• Proactive, investigative mindset for data in a fast-moving market.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate tech advantages into sales pitches.
• Cross-functional clout; respected by both sales and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Threat Modeling: monitor rivals' roadmaps, pricing, and data center deployments.
• Actionable Field Battlecards: turn intelligence into practical battlecards and pricing takedowns.
• Win/Loss Analysis: conduct interviews to identify pitch gaps and feed into GTM.
• Executive Market Briefings: brief executives on AI compute demand and supply constraints.
• Architectural Benchmarking: work with engineering to benchmark latency, PUE and TCO.
