Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency seeks a senior manager to direct the DFMWR Business Division at a large garrison, overseeing clubs, food and beverage, entertainment, golf, lodging, and related programs through subordinate activity managers. Responsibilities include fiscal resource management, program oversight of sports, facilities, outdoor recreation, and events, and coordination with AAFES where applicable.

Requires experience in managing recreation programs and budgeting within a military

Qualifications

• Experience directing/managing one or more Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Programs for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year.
• Three or more years of Recreation or Business experience on a Military Installation or similar civilian community.
• Three or more years of experience analyzing financial information and formulating/executing APF and NAF budgets.
• Three or more years of experience developing/executing Capitol Purchase Minor Construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage Human Resources programs and supervise personnel.
• Contracting Officer Representative (COR) training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the DFMWR Business Division through subordinate activity managers.
• Manage programs including sports, fitness, events, parks, and lodging.
• Direct fiscal resources and budget responsibilities for the division.
• Ensure compliance with pre-employment checks and ethics requirements.
• Coordinate with installation officials and agencies as needed.
