Job summary

The Queen Anne's County Department of Health seeks a Director to lead the Prevention and Health Promotion division, directing administrative, technical, legal, and educational responsibilities for assigned programs in Maryland.

You will design, implement, and manage community behavioral health, wellness, and prevention initiatives while building partnerships with state and local governments, businesses, and service providers. The role may require 24-hour call-in and overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six years of health or human services administrative or professional experience
• Three years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Grant and budget management experience
• Experience with community behavioral health, wellness, and/or prevention programs
• Master's degree or Doctorate may substitute for general experience requirements

Responsibilities

• Directs the Prevention and Health Promotion division, overseeing administrative, technical, legal, and educational responsibilities for assigned programs
