Job summary
Historic District Development Corporation (HDDC) seeks a hands-on Director of Community Development & Revitalization to lead full lifecycle real estate projects from concept to completion. You will work with senior leadership to align strategy with capital plans, partner with public agencies and lenders, and deliver both financial viability and lasting community impact.
The role requires 7–10+ years in development or related field, strong financing knowledge, and a track record of managing
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in real estate development, affordable housing, or community development finance.
- Proven experience leading development projects from concept through completion.
- Strong knowledge of community development financing, LIHTC and subsidies.
- Experience with financial modeling, underwriting, and feasibility analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end real estate development projects from concept to completion.
- Structure and execute complex development deals.
- Partner with public agencies, capital providers, and community stakeholders.
- Deliver projects that are investment-ready and community-impact driven.
- Support capital raising, investor reporting, and impact storytelling.
