The Director of Community Capital Investments leads sourcing and structuring of affordable housing and economic development transactions in New York, coordinating with city and state agencies to maximize impact.

The role requires strong financial analysis, underwriting, and relationship management to deploy LISC’s capital and technical assistance across partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or relevant experience.
• Excellent writing, financial analysis and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently on multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Community Capital Investments team in structuring, negotiating, and originating a strong pipeline of affordable housing and economic development transactions.
• Drive deployment of capital and technical assistance resources to support community development initiatives and maximize impact.
• Manage key relationships with public and private sector partners and coordinate with government agencies to develop projects.
• Underwrite transactions and present loan recommendations to the credit committee.
• Prepare reports for investors, funders and stakeholders.
