Job summary

Amylyx Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director of Commercial FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and analytics for the Commercial organization. You will partner with Commercial, Accounting, and Executive Leadership to drive profitability and scalable growth.

You will develop plans, evaluate investments, guide revenue projections, and provide insights to optimize pricing, distribution, and go-to-market initiatives. This role supports launch readiness and ongoing commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• 10+ years of FP&A or finance business partnering experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience in life sciences/biotech/pharma or healthcare with commercial support and revenue forecasting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, modeling and performance management.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and be a trusted advisor across functions.
• Ability to develop sophisticated financial models and translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to Commercial leadership, providing guidance and decision support to drive growth and profitability.
• Lead the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans for Commercial functions.
• Develop robust financial models, forecasts, and analytics to evaluate revenue, pricing, investments, and growth opportunities.
• Analyze revenue growth, sales productivity, payer dynamics, pricing, and operating expenses.
• Provide executive-level reporting and actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with Commercial leaders to set targets and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Lead strategic analyses and business cases to support resource allocation and expansion.
• continually improve FP&A processes and forecasting methods.
