Job summary

RH is looking for a Director, Commercial Contracts to lead contracting for a global luxury lifestyle brand. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements while building templates and playbooks that accelerate decision-making with high legal quality.

Based at RH's Corte Madera, CA headquarters or remote anywhere in the United States, you will mentor paralegals and collaborate with business leaders to balance speed with risk management and precision.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant commercial contracts experience.
• In-house experience at a large publicly traded company preferred.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Experience building contract management programs and templates with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across multiple business functions.
• Provide practical advice on contract terms, risk allocation, and dispute avoidance.
• Lead contract lifecycle management strategy and workflows.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines for consistency.
• Introduce AI tools for drafting, review, and analysis while ensuring quality.
• Mentor paralegals and collaborate with Legal leadership.
