CleanCapital owns and operates a growing portfolio of distributed generation (DG) solar and battery storage assets. We are hiring a Director of Commercial Asset Management to build and lead this function from the ground up, owning revenue performance, budgeting, and compliance across ~400 sites today with growth toward 1.5GW.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in renewable asset management, experience with PPAs/leases, and a strong budgeting track record, plus AI literacy to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial asset management for renewable energy DG solar or BESS.
• Direct experience with PPAs, offtake agreements, or lease/easement structures.
• Experience owning a budget and managing variance to plan.
• AI literacy and ability to apply AI tools to asset management.

Responsabilités

• Hold commercial P&L accountability and own revenue performance.
• Lead annual operating budget development and variance reviews.
• Manage counterparty relationships, including offtakers and landowners.
• Drive revenue assurance and reporting to senior leadership.
• Oversee tax, SREC, and compliance across the portfolio.
