Job summary

Southland Industries seeks a Director of Systems Engineering to lead cloud architecture strategy, platform governance, and enterprise identity management across Azure, Entra ID, and M365 foundations.

You will drive automation, operational discipline, and scalable, secure cloud platforms while partnering with Cybersecurity, Network, and business leaders. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, CS, engineering, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure or enterprise infrastructure leadership.
• 5+ years leading technical teams, budgeting and staffing.
• Strong experience with Azure, M365, Entra ID, and cloud-platform operations.
• Deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, conditional access, and identity lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise cloud architecture focusing on Azure, M365, and core infra capabilities.
• Own identity management across Entra ID and access control.
• Lead cloud operations, monitoring, incident response, and change management.
• Drive infrastructure automation and IaC patterns using Terraform/Bicep/PowerShell.
• Govern M365 platform administration and data governance practices.
