Job summary

OneStream Software seeks a Director of Cloud FinOps to own the financial strategy and execution of cloud spend for our SaaS platform. You will collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Product, and Operations to drive measurable value from cloud usage, implement cost governance, and deliver executive insights.

You will lead a FinOps team, champion cost-awareness, and shape budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback models to optimize spend while supporting growth and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in cloud financial management or technology finance.
• 5+ years in a leadership role, managing teams across Finance, Engineering, and Operations.
• FinOps certifications or cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.
• Deep knowledge of public-cloud pricing and billing models and success in optimizing spend.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud financial management framework across our SaaS offering.
• Lead cloud cost optimization programs including reserved instances and tag-based governance.
• Partner with Engineering/CloudOps/Product to integrate cost visibility into operations and instill FinOps culture.
• Drive executive reporting and board materials highlighting cost trends, risk, and savings progress.
• Define and enforce governance around cost allocation, approval workflows, and cloud contracts.
• Lead a FinOps team of analysts/engineers and mentor cross-functional stakeholders.
