OneStream is seeking a Director, Cloud FinOps to own the strategy and execution of all financial aspects of our public-cloud operations. You'll partner across Engineering, Finance, Product, and Operations, working with an experienced leadership team committed to technical excellence and fiscal discipline to ensure that every dollar of cloud spend drives measurable value, scale, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, CS, IS or Engineering.
• 10–15 years of cloud financial management or tech finance experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Proven FinOps practice creation, governance and cost optimization.
• Deep knowledge of public‑cloud pricing and billing models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud financial mgmt framework: forecasting, budgeting, actuals vs. plan.
• Lead cloud cost optimization programs and chargeback initiatives.
• Partner with Eng/CloudOps/Product to integrate cost visibility (dashboards, KPIs).
• Drive executive reporting on cost trends, risks, and savings progress.
• Define governance around cloud cost, tagging, and service approvals.
• Lead FinOps analysts/engineers; mentor and align with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with FP&A to reflect cloud costs in financial plans and pricing.
