Job summary

Capital One Software, Databolt is seeking a Director, Solutions Architect to serve as the strategic technical anchor for critical accounts, bridging legacy systems to AI-driven futures. You will lead workshops with CISOs, Data Engineers, and executives, and collaborate with SIs and partners to deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities include guiding secure cloud migrations to Snowflake/Databricks, enabling privacy strategies for Generative AI, and architecting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Military experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Technical Consulting for enterprise software.
• At least 4 years of experience with Kubernetes and Container Orchestration (e.g., clusters, helm, deployments).
• At least 3 years of experience with Data Security technologies (Tokenization, Encryption, Key Management, IAM).
• At least 4 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Navigate Complex Stakeholder Maps across technical and economic buyers; translate capabilities into business value for CxOs.
• Lead Technical Discoveries into customer environments—cloud infra, data pipelines, regulatory constraints (GDPR, PCI, PII).
• Architect Scalable Solutions; document implementations; address ingress/egress, latency, and Kubernetes resource management.
• Manage Partner Engagements; train and align System Integrators with architectural standards.
• Execute Proof of Concepts (POCs); manage hands-on validation against use cases.
• Champion Data Security; explain tokenization and compliance mappings.
