Alcanza is seeking a Director of Business Development with CNS/Neuro experience to drive growth by identifying opportunities and forming strategic partnerships. This senior role leads BD initiatives and collaborates with cross-functional teams to secure new business and expand our clinical research services.

Reporting to Casey Orvin, you will partner with operations, finance, and marketing, attend industry events, and represent the company as a brand ambassador while potentially supervising team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience in business development or sales within the clinical research industry, focusing on CNS/Neuro.

Responsabilités

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and analyzing the market to target potential clients in clinical research.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration.
• Lead business development efforts by developing plans, attending conferences, and leveraging networks to generate leads and close deals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify risks and opportunities for the business.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and marketing to ensure coordinated contracts and strategies.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals tailored to client needs and articulate our value proposition.
• Track and report BD activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences and events to promote services.
• May oversee people management activities including interviewing, performance appraisals, and training.
• Participate in and present at management or site meetings.
• Perform other duties as requested.
