Job summary

DM Clinical Research in Houston, TX seeks a Director of Program Management and Planning to lead project management operations and strategic planning for clinical trials. You will shepherd external stakeholder relationships and drive cross-functional alignment at the executive level.

Ideal candidates bring senior PM experience with CROs/pharma, PMP preferred, and a track record in trial management and resource optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience interfacing with CROs and pharma at a senior level is highly preferred.
• PM experience; trial management experience is preferred.
• Private sector, site-side experience in industry sponsored trials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and oversee key clinical trial projects.
• Ensure alignment with cross-functional goals to achieve organizational objectives.
• Serve as the sponsor/CRO contact for designated trials and maintain external relationships.
• Develop PM processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
• Drive enrollment and data quality metrics per sponsor and senior management expectations.
