Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Austin invites an experienced Director of Clinical Learning to lead the negotiation, arrangement, and evaluation of clinical site partnerships across all nursing programs.

You will ensure clinical experiences align with curriculum outcomes, accreditation standards, and state board requirements while upholding the college's mission and supporting faculty and students in delivering high-quality education.

Qualifications

• MSN degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Minimum three years of clinical education experience.
• Academic leadership experience preferred.
• Academic nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee evaluation of clinical experiences to improve learning outcomes and program results.
• Lead faculty placement, orientation, and workload planning with campus leadership.
• Interview and hire faculty and staff per college standards.
• Oversee performance evaluations for faculty and clinical staff; support rank & promotion processes.
• Facilitate communication among theory, labs, simulation and clinical faculty.
• Ensure clinical affiliations meet regulatory standards and maintain current records.
