Bayfront Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee all lab activities and ensure service demands align with the organization’s plan. The role involves enforcing policies, budgeting, staffing, and quality control.

You will work with LIS/HIS systems, supervise personnel, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards across the Bayfront Hospital laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Laboratory training program.
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).

Responsabilités

• Implements policies for resource utilization, financial performance, service standards, and regulatory compliance at the laboratory site.
• Directs cost effective utilization of personnel and supplies to meet financial goals.
• Oversees Point-of-C Care testing program compliance.
• Manages hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversees scheduling and staff development.
• Ensures consistency of policies across Orlando Health Laboratories.
