The successful candidate will develop advanced diagnostics, ensure patient safety, and contribute to teaching and clinical integration with surrounding programs.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD in a health-related field.
• California medical license or eligible.
• Board certification or eligibility in CP, AP/CP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and technical oversight of coagulation and hemostasis laboratory services.
• Lead clinical consultation and guide test development and validation.
• Participate in teaching of medical students, residents, and clinical fellows.
• Collaborate with UC San Diego Health facilities and affiliated centers.
