Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Illinois seeks a Director, Clinical Applications to oversee lifecycle, reliability, upgrades, and change management of Epic and related systems within Lab and Perioperative Services. You will guide implementation, testing, and deployment of new solutions and drive efficiency while partnering with stakeholders for optimal patient and user experiences.

This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication to advance enterprise standards and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in managing processes, applications, or systems in healthcare.
3+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Owns operational performance and support for applications portfolio, ensuring stability and issue resolution.
Directs day-to-day application support operations, incident management, escalations, and change control.
Leads solution implementation, planning, testing, training, and deployment.
Develops performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Partner with domain leaders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
